Questions

1.) How can I attend?

TEDxFSU has an application process for attendees. Click HERE to reserve your seat.

2.) I have a class for part of the time of the event, can I just come for a little?

Unfortunately, no. TEDxFSU prides itself on being a conference filled with diverse thought, performances and special breaks for food and interacting with the speakers and fellow guests. For that reason, we ask that you stay for the entirety of the event.

3.) Where can I park?

The Alumni Center is located at 1030 W. Tennessee Street. Parking is available in the student parking lot located to the left of the Alumni Center, and the surrounding lots. We encourage car pooling if possible.

4.) Who will be speaking?

Every speaker will be giving their talk on March 27th. Please check our “Discover” tab in the upcoming week to learn more about them!

5.) Will there be other things going on this day?

Yes! Along with many interesting talks we will have performances, food and more fun surprises!

6.) I can’t attend/I will be out of town - can I still enjoy this event?

Yes! We will be streaming the entire event live on this website! All of the talks will also be posted to YouTube some time after the event.

 

7.) I missed the window to apply to attend, can I still come?

Yes! We will talk walk ins on the day of the event. However, these spots are limited so if you do not have a ticket make sure to get to the event early.

8.) What should I wear to this event?

Please come dressed in business casual attire.

9.) How early should I arrive?

Doors will open one hour before the event starts. We will shut the doors promptly, so make sure to get here with plenty of time to check in! The time of the event will be announced once our application link is live
